Dana Christian joins Applied Analysis Solutions as a Geospatial Scientist bringing seven years of expertise in GIS and remote sensing. Her experience with the ESRI enterprise platform, along with both LiDAR and spectral remote sensing, provide additional skillsets to develop practical and effective solutions for your environmental challenges.
As an environmental consultant, Dana utilized LiDAR and other geospatial data to model debris in terrestrial and aquatic environments related to various storm types for federal, state, and local governments. As a geospatial analyst at a large water authority, she managed complex enterprise database systems, developed web-based data collection and monitoring apps, and trained hundreds of staff in the use of GIS applications.
Dana holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Mary Washington and is pursuing a graduate certificate in Environmental GIS and Biodiversity Conservation at George Mason University.
